About Jessica Hinkson

Jessica is an independent filmmaker whose films have received critical acclaim. She has received international accolades and distribution. Her work has been broadcast on CBC, Prime, Super Channel, and Highball TV. A graduate of The Neighbourhood Playhouse, she was mentored by Terry Schreiber and worked with the iconic Judith Weston and Larry Moss. She is a Stowe Story Labs and Women In the Director’s Chair Story & Leadership alumna and founder of Hello, Darling Pictures. Currently in development, Jessica has a dramatic feature (Concrete Marshmallow); a feature romcom (This Summer, Maybe); and a web series (Blended). She has been selected for RIFF’s Talent Lab ‘26 and will be travelling to Reykjavík this fall. As well as chosen for the Château D’Orquevaux Residency, she is the recipient of the Denis Diderot grant. Jessica is a proud member of LIFT and the Canadian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts.
